Train packing soybeans derails in Oconto County

No one was hurt when a train hauling soybeans derailed Thursday near Oconto County I just south of Wisconsin 22.

It was not immediately known what caused the train to jump the tracks about 3:24 p.m. and land alongside the tracks, a dispatcher said.

The train was said to have about four or five railroad cars.

A portion of Oconto County I was closed to the public for several hours while authorities investigated and the railroad cars were cleared.
