Bullfrogs top Bombers in 13 innings

Andrew Ely drew a one-out walk in the bottom of the 13th inning and came around to score on three wild pitches as the Green Bay Bullfrogs defeated the Battle Creek Bombers 3-2 on Thursday Night in a Northwoods League game.

The Bullfrogs trailed 2-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning before Tripp Martin's RBI-triple sent the game into extra innings.

Michael Fain started the game for Green Bay and took a no-decision, allowing one run and four hits in six innings of work. Logan West pitched two scoreless innings in relief to get the win. ...
