Author to hold reading at Apple Blossom

Author Robert Diemer will visit Apple Blossom Books on Saturday, July 20, at 1 p.m. for a reading and book signing of his book "
The Widow's Son
: A Tropical Island Mystery."

Diemer's non-fiction work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, Islands Magazine, and the San Francisco Examiner Magazine.
The Widow's Son
: A Tropical Island Mystery is his first novel.

Diemer wrote
The Widow's Son
after living and working in Micronesia as a Public Defender and Staff Attorney for the Federated States of Micronesia Supreme Court.
The Widow's Son
takes place in these tropical islands, which are near Guam and the Philippines. Diemer began his Micronesian adventure when he answered an ad "Lawyer needed in tropical paradise."
