Man given six months for child porn

A Sturgeon Bay man was given six months in jail and five years probation after being convicted of three felony charges for possession of child pornography Tuesday.

Thairon C. Berger, 34, pleaded no contest in a plea arrangement. Door County Circuit Judge Peter Diltz dismissed five other counts but read them into the record for sentencing.

According to the criminal complaint, Berger was discovered downloading and sharing child pornography after a Crimes Against Children investigation led authorities to his Internet address. ...
