Little Chute woman convicted in texting-related fatality

A Little Chute woman who was texting and driving just prior to a fatal crash in Kimberly in 2012 was found guilty Friday of a homicide charge.

Pa Kou Xiong, 20, pleaded no contest in Outagamie County Court to homicide by negligent use of a vehicle.

Police were called about 12:15 a.m. on July 28 to W. Kimberly Avenue and S. Wilbur Street in Kimberly, where they found James C. Weiss of Kimberly unconscious in the road. He was taken to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah and died Aug. 4. ...
