Kronenwetter moves forward with groundwater solution

Residents who've spent years worrying about flooding in their homes feel like they could soon breathe easy after village officials took steps toward solving a groundwater problem.

Village officials approved a formula June 25 during a regularly scheduled Kronenwetter Village Board meeting to assess residents living in the Golden Pond neighborhood to pay for what could be a permanent solution to groundwater problems that caused flooding to homes in the area.
