The Northern Cloverleaf 4-H Club recently planted the flower barrels in Lakeside Park. Thanks goes out to Tori at Sunnypoint Gardens for all her help with teaching 4-H members about everything from the soil to the watering and feeding. The group had several great trips to Sunnypoint Gardens.
Thanks also goes out to "Little Bit" LeClair for her help with planting the barrels at the park. The kids really got into the dirt with all their might. The kids also planted their own planters and pots which they made and decorated as a project to take to the Door County Fair.
Thank you to all the members of the Northern Cloverleaf 4-H Club for this great project. It is a nice colorful contribution to Lakeside Park and the community.

This 23rd annual event is sponsored by the Jacksonport Firefighters Association.
The Little Free Library, in Lakeside Park and sponsored by the Jacksonport Women's Club, has been chosen as a "Library of Distinction." The library is constructed from Door County cedar by one of the JWC's member's husbands, Chuck Birringer. The theme "Wild About Reading" features Door County wild flowers painted by JWC member Calsey Cross.
The JWC keeps the library stocked with books and is very excited to be part of this growing movement to share books through Little Libraries across the county!
