The skies above Green Bay exploded in dancing colors Saturday during an inaugural kite festival that drew hundreds of spectators.

It was the first such event organized as a fundraiser for Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W., a nonprofit family services agency.

Paula Breese, executive director of the agency, said organizers decided a kite festival was appropriate because it promotes wholesome fun for the whole family. ...
