Children's nutrition, educational television and drug treatment are among the causes being promoted in the latest grants awarded by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.

The foundation has awarded $82,612 from its Funds for Greater Green Bay to 17 area non-profit organizations.

The charitable organization, founded in 1991, distributes grants to between 400 and 500 non-profits annually. The newest awards were determined in a competetive application process administered by a team of community volunteers. ...
