American Legion baseball roundup: Ash Port moves to title game in Kimberly

Ash Port won twice Saturday to advance to today's championship game of the Kimberly American Legion baseball tournament.

Ash Port opened Saturday by topping Appleton Post 38 18-1 in five innings. Kyle Mrozinski belted two grand slams and drove in eight, Jake Monroe also homered twice and had four RBIs and Ben Messenger struck out eight in going the distance.

Ash Port then edged Neenah 2-1 to improve to 3-0 in the tournament. Bret Neuville went the distance and struck out eight, Drew Neuville had two hits and Hunter Pahl homered. ...
