? The NEW Zoo fosters education and conservation through interactions with live animals. Many volunteer opportunities are available, including assisting with educational programs, conducting guided tours, supervising the Giraffe Stand experience, maintaining grounds, and participating in special projects. Contact Angela Kawski-Kroening at (920) 434-7841 x2405 or volunteer@newzoo.org.

? The Volunteer Center's Reading Coaches for Kids Program will host a Seaside Safari Summer Reading Program at an area elementary school. Help boost summer reading skills by donating nautical craft items appropriate for children, such as seashells, and other natural craft items for children's craft projects. Donations to fund a field trip at the end of the program are also needed. Contact Anne Charneski at (920) 429-9445 or acharneski@volunteergb.org.

? Learn and share the story of the history of Brown County by becoming a tour guide at Hazelwood Historic House. Other opportunities include assisting with special events, historic research, educational programs, gardening, or the maintenance of the building and grounds. Contact Christine Dunbar at (920) 437-1840 or bchs@netnet.net.
