You never know who you might bump into at Summerfest, but its seems fitting that the Milwaukee fest synonmous with its smiley face logo would attract a guy famous for his own smiling face.

Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver showed up on two days at The Big Gig last week. He surprised festgoers by driving them around in a pedi-cab and hopping in the the Sky Glider with them. He also made pizza at Zaffiros, signed autographs and got up on stage with a couple of bands.

He was on the grounds as a member of U.S. Cellular's Band of Better, a group of people who reward customers' loyalty by treating them like VIPs and giving them exclusive upgrades, giveaways and experiences at events across the state.

On Aug. 2, former Packer offensive tackle Mark Tauscher joins the Band of Better to reward patrons with surprise perks at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis.

Summerfest runs noon to midnight Sunday and Tuesday through July 7 in Milwaukee. Admission is $17 for adults or $10 before 4 p.m. on weekdays. Lineups for the 11 music stages can be found at www.summerfest.com.
