Police department warns of credit card scam

The Oshkosh Police Department is alerting citizens to a credit card scam that is occurring in Oshkosh.

A citizen contacted the Oshkosh Police Department about a mailing they received from the Union Workers Credit Services, a company out of the Dallas, Texas.

The citizen said they paid an upfront fee of $37 to receive a $10,000 platinum credit card that may be used by its members on discounts for travel, hotels, and cruises as well as the ability to finance merchandise selections from the Union Workers Adv antage Catalog and buying services with conveniently low monthly payments. ...
