Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon that knocked out power to hundreds of people on Wausau's west side, authorities say.

At about 1 p.m., a sport utility vehicle rear-ended a station wagon near the intersection of Bridge Street and 11th Avenue with enough force to crush the back end of the station wagon up to the rear tires, Wausau Fire Department Lt. Douglas Flory said.
