In baseball, there is nothing more vital than solid starting pitching.

The Wausau Post 10 Bulldogs legion baseball team got exactly that, with two solid outings on the mound Saturday in the Chippewa Falls tournament. The Bulldogs went 2-0 on the day, bouncing back from a loss to Green Bay a day earlier.

Dylan Detert picked up the win in relief of Scott Kieper in the opening game, a narrow 3-2 win over River Falls, and Nick Janke hurled a complete game in the Bulldogs' 6-2 victory over Union Grove. ...
