The Greenleaf Fire Department is investigating the cause of a weekend fire at a Rockland home, Fire Chief Joe Daul said Monday.

An attached garage caught fire on Saturday morning at 3912 Marilyn Ley Drive.

Morrison, Wrightstown, Ledgeview and Wayside fire departments assisted Greenleaf with the fire. When crews arrived, smoke and flames were visible. It took crews about a half-hour to extinguish the flames.

The residents were able to leave the home and weren't hurt.

The house was not a total loss, Daul said. The garage suffered the most damage, but Daul didn't have a damage estimate on Monday. According to online Brown County land records, the property is owned by David and Jacqueline Ley and is valued at $224,000.
