DE PERE The light could turn green Tuesday night for the first segment of a street named in honor of Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy.

De Pere City Council will consider renaming its portion of Ashland Avenue after the latest Packers coach to lead his team to a Super Bowl victory. About 10 De Pere properties, eight of them businesses, would be affected if the change is made.

A similar measure has been proposed for Ashland Avenue in Ashwaubenon and part of Green Bay. ...
