Community shows support for Hiller's Fourth of July flag donation

A legion of T-shirt-clad volunteers descended upon Marshfield on Sunday afternoon, placing American flags in the yard of every house in the city.

It's become somewhat of an annual tradition in Marshfield for Hiller's True Value Hardware to provide the community with 30-inch American flags in time for the Fourth of July.

"We just think it's great as a community service project to thank our veterans for serving. We're just honored to do this in honor of them," said Jill Hiller, owner of Hiller's True Value Hardware. ...
