Elizabeth Pospyhalla Edgar's Elizabeth Pospyhalla competes in the division 3 girls 400 meter dash during the WIAA state track and field meet at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Pospyhalla won the won the WIAA Division 3 girls 200- and 400-meter dashes and finished her career with 12 state medals.

Elizabeth Pospyhalla is described as having an easygoing personality, and often can be seen sporting a smile when she greets people. The exceptions are when she is on the track and set for a race.

That's when her smile turns into a stoic focus.

"Yeah, she is this fun loving, little, 5-foot-2 100-pound nothing girl, but she's going to win the race," Greg Streit, co-coach of the Edgar track team said. "When you line up toe-to-toe, it don't matter who it is. You can put her against Muhammad Ali in a boxing ring and Lizzie thinks she has a chance to win." ...
