Six local businesses and community organizations recently relied on their childhood block-building skills.

The groups - WoodTrust Bank, United Way of Inner Wisconsin board of directors, Wood County employees, Cellcom, The Neighborhood Table and Solarus - participated in "United We Can," a friendly competition on Friday to solicit food donations from co-workers and then build sculptures with the donations.
