Benefit concert to feature country artist Josh Thompson

Element Mobile and the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will host national country artist Josh Thompson on Aug. 9 at Witter Field for a concert to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area. Raised Reckless, a country band from Wisconsin Rapids, will be the opening act. Door open at 5:30 p.m., with Raised Reckless taking the stage at 6:30 p.m. and Thompson at 7:30 p.m.

General admission tickets are on sale for $15 in advance or $20 at the door. VIP tickets also are available for $100 per table of six and include a closer view of the stage, two complimentary drink tickets, a la carte food service and wait service. Additionally, premium seating in the Element Mobile Rat Trap is available for $50 a seat and includes all-you-can-eat-and-drink dining.

Tickets are available in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Rafters' ticket office or by calling 715-424-5400.
