Riverfront Rendezvous set for this weekend

Stevens Point parks and recreation workers will be busy the next few days preparing for the annual Riverfront Rendezvous.

Tom Schrader, director of the parks, recreation and forestry department, said city employees will busy most of today and Wednesday to prepare for the event. Schrader said tents, stages, lighting and more than 70 picnic tables will have to be set up in Pfiffner Pioneer Park along with the departments normal duties of mowing and baseball diamond setup.
