Three Door County Strivers gymnasts won YMCA national titles last weekend in Savannah, Ga.

Sophia Pollman, 14, placed first in the uneven bars in the XCel Gold Division with a score of 9.35; Emily Ulberg, 9, won the Level 3 balance beam (9.325); and Reetika Jandu, 11, captured gold in the Level 4 vault (9.50). There were approximately 35 gymnasts in each division.

Pollman is the first Strivers gymnast to win back-to-back national titles. She won a gold medal in the Xcel Bronze vault last year. ...
