Family programs, Costa Rica part of Ridges offerings

Looking for ways to get the kids outdoors? The Ridges Sanctuary in Baileys Harbor has added a number of new "No Family Left Inside" programs for families, most starting at 10:30 a.m. Mondays throughout July and August.

First up is an old-fashioned Scavenger Hunt using modern GPS technology July 8. Participants will learn how to use GPS coordinates to locate interesting features along the Ridges' trails; families can bring their own GPS unit or borrow one from the Ridges. This program is suitable for ages 6 and older.
