As always, the air throughout the Peninsula will be a-light over the next few nights, as communities throughout Door County host their Fourth of July celebrations and fireworks shows. Here's a list of when and where to cast your eyes to the skies.

? The Egg Harbor Business Association gets things going July 3 with the first day of the village's Independence Day celebration.

The fun begins with food and refreshments from 4 to 10 p.m. at Harbor View Park, 7809 Wisconsin 42. Popular jazz/r&b band Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns is on stage at the park from 5 to 9 p.m., followed by a fireworks show that ...
