Menasha board chooses superintendent

Menasha school leaders selected the next district administrator Monday night during closed session deliberations.

The school board is negotiating a contract with Chris VanderHeyden, said Rick Carlson of SCF Educational Consultants. Pending the outcome of the contract negotiations and final board approval, VanderHeyden will start as district administrator Aug. 1. VanderHeyden most recently served as superintendent in the School District of Shiocton.
