Health care delay creates uncertainty

Businesses now have more time to roll out changes

The Obama administration's decision to delay parts of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is both a relief and an annoyance to business owners.

On Tuesday, the administration unexpectedly announced a one-year delay, until after the 2014 elections, on a central requirement of the law that medium and large companies provide affordable coverage for their workers or face fines.
