The Spoon Man is a published author who offers a hilarious interactive comedy program for all ages. He has been playing the spoons for 32 years, and you may even see him play forks and knives. The "Spoon Man" has a totally cleanact. (He never uses dirty silverware.)

His program contains several outrageous impressions such as Elvis, Glenn Miller, a heavy metal spoon player, and a rap spooner. He has an audience sing-a-long and creates a mountain band. The show is a spoonful of family fun.

His book, "The Spoon Boy," and an instructional video on how to play the spoons entitled "Music from the Kitchen" will be available for purchase after the shows.

See the Spoon Man at the Colby Public Library Community Room on July 11. There will be three shows that day: 10:30 a.m., general entertainment show; 1:30 p.m., show plus learn to play the spoons (BYOS - bring your own silverware); and 6:30 p.m., Spoons on Fire.

The shows are all free to the public. Children do not need to be signed up for the summer reading program to attend. The show will entertain people of all ages, so bring the entire family. Encourage grandma and grandpa and the neighbors to tag along.

Stop sitting around the house getting all tarnished up and come out and have some clean fun. The Spoon Man gives a real stirring performance.
