Wausau kicks off Firecracker with win over Oshkosh

The Wausau Post 6 Bulldogs kicked off the Ed Kardach Firecracker tournamentwith a 7-3 victory over Oshkosh on Thursday night. The Bulldogs scored six runs in the fifth inning to overcome a three-run deficit.

Oshkosh starter Drew Connors cruised through the first four innings, before walking two straight to start the fifth inning. Drew Detert followed with a two-run triple over the centerfielder's head to knot the game. The next batter, Walt Grau untied the game with an RBI double. Cole Nelson added a two-run double in the innings, as well.
