Answer to heroin problem can come from hope

Fourth of July is over. It's a great holiday that celebrates "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" and is filled with food, warm weather, fun and fireworks. Our country is a great story of hope and freedom. But that story doesn't carry over to every person who lives in the United States.

You may have read the recent articles on the increase of heroin use and addiction in our area. I had also heard about this issue recently in talking to some business people who are struggling with it as they try to hire and retain employees.
