Dustin Kayhart's lawn mower defies expectation.

"It's one thrill ride after another," he said of the machine he manipulated to race up to 60 mph.

Kayhart, 22, of Athens, has been racing lawn mowers throughout Wisconsin for the past six years as part of the Wisconsin Lawnmower Racing Association. He and about a dozen other racers brought their supercharged machines to Marathon Park on Friday night for the Wausau Area Jaycees Fourth of July Celebration. ...
