Quilters and sewers often can be found making and donating their sewing and quilting for many good causes. Whether it's for babies with AIDS, troubled teens, women's shelters or for a number of other causes, where there is a need for warmth and good cheer you'll find a caring, gifted person putting her (or his) skill to the cause.

Such is the ministry of Holy Cross Associate Grace Batchelder. "I don't like to hear of little people going to bed cold. I have been fortunate in my life to have enough to eat and be warm at night, so if I can, in some small way help, I will help alleviate that problem," she said ...
