Baby sitter training offered

Baby sitter training will be offered 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at the Family Resource Center 401 W. Main St., Merrill. Entrance is in the back.

Students in grades five to eight are invited to come and learn the basics of how safely to provide care for young children and also get ideas for fun activities to do with the children.

Cost is $20 per student, payable to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Class size is limited.

When registration is confirmed, paperwork will be mailed. Participants must bring the completed registration form, a signed parent consent form, and a bag lunch to the training.
