? U.S. employers added 195,000 jobs in June, and hiring was more robust in the two previous months than earlier estimated, according to new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The nationwide unemployment rate was steady at 7.6 percent, in part because more people were looking for work.

? MillerCoors LLC will add 240 jobs in Milwaukee, many of them consultant positions, according to a report, and the company seeks to streamline processes and become more efficient.

? Wisconsin placed 20th in a new ranking from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia designed to predict states' future economic growth. The report showed significant relative improvement for Wisconsin; the previous ranking had the state at 40th.

? U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy, R-Weston, is pushing for increased logging in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, a move the representative said will increase Wisconsin jobs. The amount of lumber harvested from the forest has fallen significantly below sustainable levels recommended by the U.S. Forestry Service, Duffy said in a speech on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.
