Former Appleton East High School soccer standout Liz Grier knows the pain of an ACL tear all too well.

Grier, 25, endured not one but three ACL tears during her time as a student-athlete. Now she faces a partial knee replacement and the realization that the love of her life - playing soccer - may have to be shelved indefinitely.
