Each week, when the shadow cast by the sundial indicates it's 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the crowd begins to arrive at Opera House Square.

Small groups of teens and 20-somethings gather and catch up on the latest gossip, games of hacky sack break out and when the lids of two coolers containing hot dogs and water are opened, there's a rush for food.

The crowds have been gathering at Opera House Square for years. In the past it's attracted drum-circling hippies, spiky-haired punks, musicians, peace and justice activists and the Juggalos. ...
