Jin ruled competent to stand trial (with video, photos)

A Sheboygan County judge Monday ruled that 40-year-old Lao Jin is competent to stand trial for allegedly threatening to kill his family and subjecting them to years of psychological trauma and physical abuse.

Circuit Court Judge Timothy Van Akkeren's ruling followed an evaluation by a court-appointed mental health professional, who recommended that Jin was fit to stand trial.
