Sheboygan fees to shelter will continue, committee decides

A Sheboygan alderman's attempt to find out how the Sheboygan County Humane Society is spending its money has come, so far, to naught.

At its Monday meeting, the city's Finance Committee voted to file a communication from Ald. Scott Lewandoske asking that all money given to the Humane Society from city pet licensing fees be withheld until the Common Council gets proof the money is being spent on the care of the animals it shelters.
