Agnesian HealthCare awards volunteer scholarships to five

Five area students who intend to pursue careers in health care have been awarded scholarships from the Agnesian HealthCare Volunteers.

Scholarship recipients were chosen from among area high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in health care.

Winners of the $1,000 scholarships include:

? Jedidiah Barton is a senior at Mayville High School. He plans to attend Viterbo University in La Crosse to become a physician.

? Abigail Busse is a senior at St. Mary's Springs Academy High School. She plans to attend Marquette University to pursue a career in Denistry.

? Christopher Van Scyoc is a senior at Green Lake High School, and plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue a career in Orthopedic Surgery.

? Doniell Ericksen is a senior at Fond du Lac High School, and plans to attend Lawrence University to pursue a career as an In-fectious Disease physician.

? Taylor Huenink of Brandon, is a $500 scholarship winner. He is a senior at the Waupun Area Junior Senior High School, and plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College to pursue a career as an EMT.
