I was looking up some information on the WIAA website when I noticed the governing body of high school athletics in the state announcing the online registration deadline for officials was expiring. Actually, it had expired two days earlier.

There was a button on the left for current officials and an additional one to the right for new ones. Frankly, it takes a little courage to push the one on the right. Even the button on the left has to give officials pause after having experienced a tough game or two.
