Legion baseball: Late offense lifts Chiefs over Oconto Falls

The Northern Door Legion baseball team scored three runs in its last two innings to pull out a 6-3 win over Oconto Falls in a game Tuesday night in Institute.

The Chiefs scored one run in the first inning, with leadoff batter Drew Tanck coming home of Cody Giesseman's single, and added one in the third as Nick Kita's single plated Tanner Biwer.

Oconto Falls cut its deficit to 2-1 in the top of the fourth, but Austin Bauldry singled in the bottom of the inning and came around to score on two throwing errors to push the lead back to two. ...
