Food, fun, heritage all part of Belgian Days

The Brussels Lions Club presents the 52nd annual Belgian Days July 13 and 14 at Brussels Town Park, County C, west of State 57 and just off County DK, Brussels.

Activities begin at 8 a.m. July 13 with the start of the Brussels Big Dogs baseball tournament, running both days, and continue with a volleyball tournament and something new, a cooyah (a Belgian card game) tournament, both starting at noon July 13.

July 14 features the traditional Belgian parade through Brussels at 10 a.m., featuring floats, tractors and possibly a couple of marchers from Belgium this year. The parade route starts at ...
