Police continue to search for answers in two separate deadly crashes that claimed the lives of two people in recent weeks in the Wausau metro area, but have concluded their investigation into a third serious crash.

On July 4, Seth E. W. Stadler, 21, of Kronenwetter was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old girl, Rothschild Police Capt. Jeremy Hunt said. The crash happened at the intersection of Business Highway 51 and Interstate 39 near the Wausau Homes factory, police said.
