GREENVILLE — A woman was ejected through the driver-side window in a Thursday morning crash.

The driver, a 42-year-old Winneconne resident, was traveling north on State 76/Municipal Drive near School Road when she swerved to miss an animal, said Staff Sgt. Ryan Carpenter of the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department.

Around 8 a.m., the Ford Explorer crossed the center line, rolled several times and ejected the woman, who was not wearing her seat belt, Carpenter said.

She was taken to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with injuries that were not life threatening.

The crash shut down traffic on the highway for about 45 minutes. It is under investigation.
