New Franken's Shawn Kilgore made more money racing in one night on July 4 than he's made some whole seasons in the past.

On Independence Day, Kilgore earned $10,000 by winning the Aftermarket Nationals for IMCA modifieds at Farley (Iowa) Speedway.

"It was the first time I was ever there," Kilgore said. "It was real close to the same gears as we run around here, so that part of it was fine." ...
