Sunny skies and a brisk breeze greeted visitors at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park in Neillsville on July 4 for the Independence Day Ceremony.

The Liberty Bell was rung, and colors were presented by the Loyal American Legion Post 175 to begin the ceremony. The Rev. Al Houts delivered the invocation to those gathered on The Highground plaza. Miles Voss sang "The Star-Spangled Banner."
