Jury convicts man guilty of driving with THC in blood

A Door County jury found a Sturgeon Bay man guilty Wednesday of driving with a detectable amount of a restricted controlled substance in his blood and possessing drug paraphernalia.

It was the third conviction for operating a motor vehicle with a controlled substance in his bloodstream for Shawn A. Martinson, 41, who pleaded not guilty Jan. 30, 2012. He was arrested on four misdemeanor counts that included what could have been a third conviction of operating under the influence. The other charges included possession of an illegally obtained prescription.
