After a tough, mistake-filled loss three days before, then falling behind Kewaunee County early, not once but twice and in a road game, it seemed like the Sturgeon Bay Legion baseball team's hopes of winning its division were on the ropes.

Instead, the Bays rallied, with a three-run, no-doubt home run by Casey Giesseman sparking an explosion of 10 runs in the last two innings to pull out a 12-7 win Tuesday night over the Lakers.

Sturgeon Bay was tied for second place with the Lakers in the standings coming into the game, one loss behind Chilton, which beat the Bays, 5-3, last Saturday. ...
