A developer proposing a 16-story hotel tower in downtown Green Bay says the project would cost $30 million to $40 million.

Edgewater Resources LLC of St. Joseph, Mich., also says the endeavor would create 500 jobs in the construction and operation of the hotel, as well as adjoining restaurants and a marina.

The firm has submitted details of its plans to city leaders, along with the first preliminary renderings of the tower concept, identified as Green Bay City Center Hotel. ...
