Ahnapee Construction plans expansion

12:17 PM, Jul. 11, 2013  |  Comments

Ahnapee Construction is expanding its operations in Algoma. The company is constructing a 5,500-square-foot building on North Water Street near the Second Street Bridge.

Formerly a vacant parking lot, the area will be the home to a warehouse and job staging facility. One additional employee has been hired.

According to City Administrator Tom Reynolds, locating more materials and job staging in Algoma will allow Ahnapee to shorten its supply chain and to be more efficient and cost-effective for their customers.

Ahnapee Construction provides a variety of services from small to large projects, including residential and commercial building construction, home remodeling and repair, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, window replacement, door replacement, siding, roofing, decks, soffit and concrete cutting and removal.
